Yesterday was Tremough Campus’s (Combined Universities in Cornwall: Falmouth and Exeter) annual Bioblitz event, 24 hours of wildlife surveying (open to the public 10am-4pm) and I was asked to help head the media team starting with the 5am Mist Netting. It was a fantastic experience and I got to see lots of really interesting animals up-close. Unfortunately it did rain and I got absolutely soak thanks to be previous day having been so nice that I forgot to pack a coat, so that’s one of the things I have learnt. Always bring a coat!
As for the rest, I am really looking forward to covering more events like this one.
